ITMAGINATION in Computerworld's report
A comment by Daniel Arak, Business Developer Director in our company, has been published in a special Report Managers and Computing Magazine No. 2 / 2011 Computerworld. The report titled "Business Applications. Compendium of business intelligence" focuses on Business Intelligence.
Daniel Arak, in his article, stressed that the most important aspects of a dedicated BI development are precisely defined objectives and customer needs. The essential step is to create an idea of a final BI solution. A set of requirements allows to understand the principles of cooperation between company and contractor.
Moreover, the article described the process of designing a matrix containing the universal, corporation wide data model and the emerging solution model as the final part of the conceptual design. In the closing paragraphs, Daniel Arak, mentioned the most important aspects of deployment coordination and social values of business solutions, as a determinant of the latest trends.

Bespoke Internet Platform
ITMAGINATION has signed a contract with Xelion Doradcy Finansowi Sp. z o. o, a member of UniCredit group, for a bespoke Internet platform design and implementation. The solution will help to provide a complex customer services. The project starts in July and will continue until the end of 2011.
The Internet platform will be a central place to help customers to quickly interact with Xelion’s internal systems, including brokerage transaction system. This new channel will allow clients to sign agreements, manage their assets, monitor financial results, trade shares and contact their financial advisor.

Business Intelligence in Skanska S.A.
ITMAGINATION signed a contract with one of the world top companies operating in biotechnology industry. Corporation which has its legal entities in more than 30 countries, is a leading international group conducting laboratory and diagnostic services.
Skanska S.A., one of the largest construction and development companies operating in Poland, will implement a new data warehouse. ITMAGINATION Sp. z o.o. has been commissioned with this Business Intelligence project. The solution will allow to quickly and effectively analyze key business performance indicators. ITMAGINATION, a company providing professional IT services in Poland and worldwide, will, by the end of May 2011, design a central analytical and financial system for Skanska. ITMAGINATION specializes in Business Intelligence projects. The main goal of the data warehouse deployment in Skanska is to facilitate the analysis of financial, budget and purchasing aspects of the company.
- Delivering a data warehouse is not just an IT service. We have proposed a solution that will assist Skansa decision makers in analysis of the financial data and indicators. It will allow to make strategic business decisions quickly and accurately. The system, we have been working on since March, will be a dedicated solution, tailor-made to meet our customer’s individual requirements – says Daniel Arak, Business Development Director ITMAGINATION Sp. z o.o.
After three months of cooperation with Skanska representatives, ITMAGINATION will deliver a complete BI solution. Apart from the data warehouse it will also include a multidimensional OLAP database, analytical and reporting system and data loading module.
- The BI project is just a beginning. The company evolves, the business situation develops, new customers emerge. Accordingly, every data warehouse, in order to remain useful, must be continuously extended and modified. The new system for Skandia will ensure quick and easy data access for persons who manage the projects and run the company – adds Szymon Małachowski, IT Coordinator, Skanska S.A. This project is based on constant cooperation, which gives Skanska representatives current access to the solution internals. The project will be finalized when Skanska becomes fully aware of the product internals. This will allow the employees to utilize and extend the solution on their own.

ITMAGINATION signed a contract with one of the world top companies operating in biotechnology industry. Corporation which has its legal entities in more than 30 countries, is a leading international group conducting laboratory and diagnostic services.
The Client has turned to ITMAGINATION for devising a Business Intelligence solution, which would enable automation and optimization of reporting to the capital group.
In the first phase, BI solution is going to be implemented in Germany and France. Then, if the results turn out to be pursuant with expectations, the system is going to be implemented in other countries.
